In order to get your songs heard you have to offer them to be listened to for FREE... like on the radio. 
If you have a chance to be on streaming services you make peanuts.
You start making money if you are signed to a big label that's has contracts with Spotify and Apple Music and the Promo Machine will generate millions of streams. This goes with exposure that creates the demand.
As a songwriter, unless a song hits the 'Big Time' when covered by a Star... DON'T QUIT YOUR DAY JOB. So, if you want to support my efforts, some help is welcome.
